Speech on Diwali - Lord Ram's life

Speech on Diwali

Diwali is the big festival of Hindus.

Diwali is also known as the festival of lights and Deepawali.

We light diyas and candles on Diwali.

On this day Ram, Laxman and Sita returned to Ayodhya.

So people of Ayodhya lighted their house with diyas to welcome them.

King Dasharatha was the father and Kaushilya was the mother of Lord Ram.

Lord Ram had four brothers ( Ram, Laxman , Bharat and Satrughan).

Sita was his wife.

Let see the sequences of Lord Ram's life -

Kaikeyi, who was the second wife of King Dasaratha had taken 2 boons from King Dasharatha

1st was throne of Ayodhya for her son Bharata

2nd was the banishment of Ram for 14 years.

During the banishment -

Ram, Sita, and Lakshman were living peacefully in the bank of River "Mandakini" at Chitrakoot.

Ravan kidnapped Sita and took her to Lanka.

So Lord Ram decided to punish Ravana for his misdeed and rescue Sita.

He met Sugriva and Hanuman and with their help, he could finally reach Ravana's Lanka.

A battle was fought between Ram and Ravana .

At the end Lord Ram defeated and killed Ravana.

Finally Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya with Sita and Laxman.

Poem on - Thank you Poem for Teachers Day

 Teachers Day Thank You Poem

I want to thank you
Not just for being a good teacher
But for being
A caring second mother

I want to thank you
Not just for being my teacher
But for being
A guide and a mentor

I want to thank you
Not just for helping me out
But for motivating me
And melting away my doubts

Thank you
